The Final Judgment

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Revelation 20:10-12

Even after binding the devil in the Abyss for a thousand years, God allows him to be released and he still goes out to deceive the nations. He wants to rob, kill, and destroy to the very end, and that is what he does. At the final great white throne judgment Satan is thrown into the lake of fire to be tormented forever and ever. God also judges all the dead and sends those whose names are not written in the Book of Life into the lake of fire. Judgment has come for Satan and all unbelievers. For the believers a new heaven and a new earth take the place of the first heaven and earth. A new Jerusalem and the marriage of Jesus and His church await the believers. God will wipe away every tear, there will be no more mourning or pain, or death. The Tree of Life grows on each side of the river that runs down the middle of the New Jerusalem. A glorious day awaits the believer.
