Hope

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25

In the business world it is said that “hope” is not a legitimate strategy. For the Christian, hope is not a strategy either. Our hope is built on the trust in the promises of a faithful God. If God was unfaithful to his promises, then our hope would be built on sinking sand. But God is faithful and true, He can be trusted. Our lives, our eternity depend on Him. Because it does, we should do all we can to build each other up, to encourage one another, to help each other grow in love with Jesus, demonstrating our faith through our good deeds. The Day is coming, be prepared for that day.
