God is With You

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

The Lord gives us great assurances in His promises to never leave us and never forsake us. It’s why King David could say, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no [fn]evil, for You are with me.” When you trust his Word you can boldly say the Lord is my helper, knowing He is always with you, always wanting what is best for you. Even when you don’t make the best decisions, He is faithful to cause that to work for your good. Be content with what you have. Be strong and courageous because God is with you and He will never abandon you.
