Changing Your Foundation Material

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  Romans 12:2 (NIV) Have you ever been frustrated by certain things you do that you know are wrong, but you keep doing it?  Maybe its your outward actions at an inappropriate time, or maybe something inward like being jealous of another person’s _______ (you fill in the blank).  The Apostle Paul spoke about this in Romans 7:19 – “I don’t do the good I want to do, but the evil I don’t want to do, I keep doing.” Today’s verse tells us we don’t have to follow this pattern.  Instead we can choose to allow God’s Word to change how we think, then our outward actions will follow.  God will change us from the inside out to do His will.  His plan works, I can attest to that.  Read and discover His Word.  Meditate on His Word and devour it, commit His Word to memory.  Witness a change in your life!
