Jesus Saves

Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners–of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1:13-15

Paul’s testimony of his life before he became a believer in Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus was probably one that humanly, most would say he would never become a Christian. Thank God that Christianity is not dependent on human effort nor man’s goodness, but rather on God’s grace and mercy when we cry out for forgiveness and help. Don’t give up loving those that you might think fall into that same category as an unsaved Paul. You can’t save them, so just love them out of your love of God. There isn’t a sinner that Jesus cannot save. Trust that Jesus saves.
