Jesus’ Kingdom

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” John 18:36 NASB

Jesus answered Pilate’s question, “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus replied his kingdom is not of this world. Whose kingdom is this world? Satan is the prince of this world. We serve a King whose kingdom is a heavenly kingdom. We live in this world now, but our goal, our focus, our treasure should not be on things of this world. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Let your heart be set on your eternal home, God’s Kingdom.
